Our Wedding

It’s funny how life works — sometimes the person you’re meant to find is closer than you realize. We both grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma, but never crossed paths until we both ended up at the University of Oklahoma.Our story began in the OU dorms, where we met and immediately knew there was something special. Our college years were some of the best of our lives. Between studying together for business exams, being involved in sorority and fraternity life, cheering on the Sooners, and experiencing everything OU had to offer, we built a relationship that grew stronger with every season of life.After graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2024 (Boomer!), we spent a year in Oklahoma City before taking the next step and moving to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Through new jobs, new experiences, and big life changes, we continued building our future together.On January 1, 2026, Zane proposed in the beautiful mountains of Durango, Colorado, surrounded by our family. It was the perfect start to the new year and a moment we will always cherish.Just a few months later, in early June 2026, we celebrated another one of our biggest milestones yet — buying our first home together in Benbrook, Texas. Creating a place that is truly ours has been such a special part of our journey and a reminder of how much we’ve grown since those first days at OU.Looking back, it’s hard to believe that two people from the same hometown had to go through life to find each other. We are so grateful for the story that brought us here and cannot wait to begin our next chapter as husband and wife.
